Solomon Islands Australia Alumni Association (SIAAA) has ushered in a new era of leadership following its 2025 Annual General Meeting in Honiara.
Congratulations to Mrs. Gladys Habu Bartlett, the newly elected President, and her dynamic team:
• Vice President: Jaydee Nomisasa
• Secretary: Wilhelmina Utukana
• Treasurer: Bridget Poiohia
• Committee Members: Jean Uwesi, Mansley Tepeaihana and Smith Kaitu’u.
The AGM, attended by 49 alumni members, reflected on key milestones, including boosting alumni engagement, hosting high-profile events, and supporting community initiatives in Tandai and Naha.
SIAAA is part of the global Australia Awards Alumni Network, a community of leaders and change-makers driving positive impact and creating enduring bonds of friendship and good will across the world.
Mrs. Bartlett said she is humbled by the trust placed in her and is excited to work with her team to build on these achievements.
