From learning in Australia to leading change at home.

Seventeen Australia Awards scholars have returned to Solomon Islands, and ready to turn their experience into impact.

Coming together for a reintegration workshop, they reflected, reconnected, and refocused on how they can drive positive change in their communities and country.

Over two days, scholars shared stories of growth, resilience and leadership, while strengthening their professional networks and plans for the future.

As one scholar put it: “We can support each other and share a common vision for change.” Another reflected: “This experience has changed us forever.”

This is what leadership looks like, it built through learning, strengthened through connection, and driven by a shared commitment to national development.
